Efficiency, functionality, comfort and design form a synthesis in the Silvatec Sleipner harvester. The Silvatec Sleipner is a very versatile machine and with the right Silvatec harvesting head, it can be used both in thinnings and in clear-cuts.
The standard Sleipner is 2.62 m wide, however dependent on the tyres, it can be 2.95 m wide or with the right rims down to 2.50 m.
With a Silvatec Sleipner and maby both a Silvatec 445 MD60 and a Silvatec 560 harvesting head all types of jobs can be negotiated.
It does not take long to change the Silvatec head. Silvatec Sleipner Mountaineer The Silvatec Sleipner Mountaineer is really in its element on steep slopes. It manages 30 degrees gradients without problems. The Silvatec Mountaineer has: The machine has absolute stability at maximum reach - yet the Silvatec Sleipner Mountaineer - which can be as narrow as 2.6 m - is still very suitable for thinnings.
